Hello and thank you in advance for taking time to read this post. As you may know I am new to this and not sure what to do, but here goes. I know the best policy is always tell the truth and wait for the results.

My name is billy and I am married (recently) and have two daughters at home and two have moved on to their adult lives. I also have a grandson whom I don't see as often as I would like to. I have been working regularly for 30 + years with only a few months of unemployment in that full cycle. About five years ago I decided to change my career course and took on a sales position which was open at the company I was employed by. Four years later I found myself being terminated for not hitting all of my sales goals requirements in a market down turn and was looking for work just 1 month before my wedding date. It took me a few months to find a new position the one I am currently working in. This new position is full commission sales and has been a tough sale. I have not had a paycheck in 6 weeks and that coupled with being out of work for a few months and a down turn in sales for the last year has hit us hard. My wife also works but her salary will not cover her debts and mine, our debts. I am thankfull every day for all that our Lord does for us and for our health and ability to work.

I am thinking that maybe sometimes God allows these situations to see if the Body of Christ is really willing to obey and take care of each other. I see our situation as an opportunity to not only grow together and bring Him glory but an opportunity for someones in the body to obey and receive a great blessing

Let me stop here and say that I know I could probably throw a rock out my window and hit someone who is struggling financially and I am aware that this is something most people are going thru which makes this even harder. How do you decide who should receive help and who shouldn't, who is legitimate and who is running a scam. I don't have the answer to that all I know is I got up this morning feeling very defeated looking at my family, taking a call from the car lender saying my car will have to be surrendered if I can't make a payment soon, and realizing I don't even have enough gas to get to my sales territory to work today. I have not even been successful in finding another job in my old career. I am willing and able to work even two jobs but am not getting any offers and wonder if my age could be part of the issue.  My wife took back some of the Christmas gifts this morning she had bought months ago to put gas in her car so she could get to work. All of this woke me to our desperate situation.

So what do I do "PRAY" as I have been and ask God again for direction. This time I felt compelled that I needed to let more people in the Body of Christ know what is going on with my family and I other than my church, family, and friends. Well that is why I began searching the net for away to do that and I came across this. This seems to be the media which God has led me to and I am willing to answer any questions and be completely candid to help our stuation.

If any one out there is feeling compelled by what God has done for them and has an extra blessing this year and would like to receive a greater blessing thru giving please let me know. All I ask is that you pray about it!!!
